Job Opening:
Correction Specialist, Aurora, CO
Job Description:
Responds to customer
inquiries from all level of the corrections community using library
and on-line resources. Prepares original content for publications,
surveys, and web based forums, blogs and pages. Supports the
creation of operating procedures, policies, plans, reports,
marketing and customer service materials.
Education:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated ability to work
independently, exercise a high degree of technical judgment and
customize responses to a diverse set of customer applications
ranging from inmates to congressional policy makers. Experience
responding to customer inquiries and providing information products
and services. Demonstrated search skills. Ability to qualify for
NAC. Good PR skills and excellent communication capabilities.
Corrections knowledge preferred. A minimum of 2 years experience in
inquiry response is preferred.
Schedule and Status:
Full time—32 hours/week
